MBHTE Launches Two New Education Infrastructure Projects in Maguindanao del Norte and Marawi City

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) continues to strengthen its education infrastructure development as it spearheaded two separate groundbreaking ceremonies for new school buildings in Maguindanao del Norte and Marawi City.

In Barangay Gang, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte, MBHTE officially began the construction of a two-storey, ten-classroom school building, funded through the Special Development Fund (SDF) 2024 with a total cost of ₱23,810,000. Once completed, the facility is expected to significantly improve classroom availability and provide a better learning environment for students in the area.

Meanwhile, in Barangay Cambingan, Marawi City, another groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of a two-storey, four-classroom Public Madrasah, amounting to ₱10,303,763.75. The project aims to support Islamic education while ensuring that young learners have access to safe, spacious, and conducive learning spaces.

These educational infrastructure investments reflect MBHTE’s continued commitment to expanding access to quality education, upgrading learning facilities, and supporting community development across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
